No. It’s cold all the time. It’s dark most of the time I’m not stuck in an office. The scenery looks dead and barren. And even when we do get snow it’s a dusting of the credit non packable kind and mostly melts by the next day so the kids can’t even enjoy it.

No, even here I like summer better than winter. Love the long days, the afternoon storms, it’s too hot but that still feels better to me than cold. Plus the snowbirds go back to their summer homes up north so traffic gets easier.

Winter is nice for gardening though, can grow more things here in the winter.

West Central Florida, the growing zone 10. Those daily thunderstorms in the summer are so beautiful. When I was a kid they were like clockwork, then they failed and there was a drought, but they seem to be back for now. Even the flooding in the parks, the “seasonal wetlands” as my ex used to call them, it is so beautiful, wading birds and frog noises. Love summer.

It really depends on where I am. Winter in a city sucks. Winter in the mountains is awesome. Summer in Phoenix sucks. Summer on the Albanian Riviera is awesome.

I do not. Seasonal depression beats me up and makes me exhausted. I love being in the sun

Most definitely prefer winter. I moved from the south to the north US and I adore all of the snow, cold, and lack of sun. Don’t have to apply sunscreen and can go sledding. Summer in the north sucks cuz there’s not as much AC as there is down south.

One thing I miss are the cicadas and frogs. There’s some up here, but they don’t get in a chorus nearly as much as back home. The summer storms I miss a lot too. Apparently the closer you get to the equator, the more thunderstorms happen. I do not miss the temps getting into the 100Fs WITH 100% humidity.

Yes. I love the cold, lack of sweat, comfy clothes and being cozy at home while it’s cold outside.

I dislike that hanging clothes tomdry takes forever unless it’s an exceptionally dry day.

I prefer winter because the cold numbs my chronic pain. The outside world is also a lot quieter. However, the icy and slower roads and the wet muck from the snow are a massive negative.

I’m a summer kind of person, but it’s not like I hate winter or anything. There’s just fierce competition.

Okey, for me classic seasons no longer exist.
I have cold (no or little snow), hot (with heavy rain sometimes), and wet (but rain isn’t guaranteed) sessons.

So, I like transition between cold and hot, which lasts for 1-2 months. It’s windy (unfortunately), rarely rains.

I loved winter when it was actually snowing. Now I prefer spring I think.

Man, thinking about that makes me so depressed. Growing up we’d have the snow cover lasting for months on end during the winter, commonly several feet of snow too. These days we’re lucky if the snow remains for a week before it thaws even at the height of December.

It is amazing how circumstances will mould the things we want. Our yard has been covered by 5 feet of snow since December. All I want is to see some green…

Here in Poland, we have significantly less snow than we used to, but I just enjoy the atmosphere of winter. I totally understand you.

I love the cold way more than the heat. But since it doesn’t snow where I live, I tend to prefer spring and fall more than winter itself, just because winter has nothing but the cold while spring and fall have the visual vibes (flowers blooming in spring, leaves changing color in fall). And also aren’t too cold so being in the sun actually feels nice and not like I am cooking.

When I’ll rule the world, we’ll have to season: summer and not summer! Any temperature under 15°C will be banned, and sheeps will be used for milk only!

I like spring a lot, but I definitely prefer winter to summer. Hot weather does not agree with me!
