Is any other app out there able to handle streaming games to your friends as easily as discord?
It seems like we should probably be looking for the next ship to jump to…
There are a couple of in-development options such as Revolt or maybe Matrix on Element, but lots of features missing.
I have been looking but haven’t found one yet.

Discord users won’t move to Matrix. It would be Revolt or maybe Teamspeak, but even that might be too technical.
Does matrix handle livestreaming with a half dozen friends as easily as discord? Chatting and sharing with a few friends is all I have ever used it for and would hate to lose that ability.
Discord is dogshit for larger communities for sure, and I stopped trying to access game specific ones after trying a few out.
