I mean, it depends but pretty often yeah. from my understanding most dies are made in their entirely at TSMC. Then the dies go either to Vietnam, Malaysia, West Taiwan or stays in Taiwan for testing/assembly/packaging but most do go to West Taiwan for that.

Genuine question, are they? The chipsets on top of the line GPUs are indeed but isn’t the card itself assembled still in West Taiwan?
