This has gotta be satire, right?
…right?
With LinkedIn it’s impossible to tell.
Every time I see something this funny on LinkedIn, I remember that it would be an insult to the creative genius of the satirist who wrote it not to laugh react it. Have I laugh reacted something meant seriously? Probably, but it’s for the greater good.
I have had students like this. Have asked me for references and everything.
So, have they been like that before they took your classes?
They seemed normal in class, very keen.
Then it’s dissertation time and they want to build levitating islands to solve global warming and getting into my office when I’m not there to leave weird notes on my monitor complaining that the department isn’t responding to their ‘funding proposal’ emails.
Pretty sure it is. I remember seeing the same post a while ago where someone mentioned it’s a troll account.
A true genius! He’s the new messiah!
Jfc this HAS to be satire. No one is this dumb. Wait yes they are. But still.
Jesus Christ
I actually got pretty much exactly this text when playing around with ChatGPT asking it to come up with inspiring tech bullshit.
Probably LinkedIn is selling data to train AI
The stupid, it burns
Go Go Gadget Gouge My Eyes Out!
I feel like this would be better placed in a “LinkedIn fuckwits” community. This is less lunacy and more tech trend bootlicking.
It’s a real LI post:

But I just read it and all of the author’s replies to comments and I am still only about 70% sure he’s joking. He must be though, right? He’s an undergrad at Georgia Tech.
Sometimes I worry that one day someone will say the smartest thing I’ve ever heard in my life and I will laugh at them.
Because I already don’t understand dumb people

What gives them any credibility when it comes to computer science? The Dunning-Kruger is strong with this bubble.
Edit: After scrolling through their comment responses and comments under other posts, I’m fairly certain they’re just trolling.
Machine learning models use artificial neurons. “Neuroscience” contains all the letters from “neurons”. “Computer science” is missing an
n.Who’s stupid now?
This is a flawless argument
This is copied from an older LinkedIn-comment, and as such I’m pretty convinced this one is satire.
The original though, I’m not so sure.
You’re missing out the best part. In the original post there’s a PHD dude from MIT who just replies with “what”
COUNTLESS sleepless nights
That’s at least 3
The AI actually represents the extra energy use caused overcomplicating things by adding the coolest new thing without thinking about what it is and how it might help
