It’s worth noting the shitty government has legislation in play that will overturn this, basically that says if your contract says you’re a contractor not an employee then you are. Which is a terrible future for all low wage workers (including Ubuler drivers) who are about to be screwed over.

We have gig drivers here, like a regional Uber setup. Drivers skim 70% off the top and pay the rest into the company. It’s breaking even, and drivers are making double Uber money.

I have no sympathy for Uber as I see this competitor winning drivers and rides by just not being dinks.
