Completely agree. OP is a troll. They pop up every so often claiming this nonsense. Chav is not, and never has been, a slur, towards working class people or otherwise.
Source - I’m a working class man from a working class area in the UK and in my mid 40s. I was in my teens when chav became a thing, and it only ever applied to a certain subset of people.

Bogans are the same as chavs in that they’re not rich.
There is an outlier of a few thousand C.U.B. (Cashed-Up Bogans) who do FIFO work at the mines and make more than like 90% of the country.
