Crazy, but it makes sense to re-invigorate the fanbase a bit before TW4 comes out (and maybe they’re even setting up villains for it?).
I think that’s absolutely what is happening. The fires for the Witcher have calmed in the fans to a few hot coals, this will stoke them up so fans are frothing for Witcher 4
Gotta keep it alive since Netflix is actively trying to kill it.
Joking aside, great to see a game like this get new content.
Same for No Man’s Sky and Risk of Rain 2. Kinda nuts, what’s next a new HL1 spin off from Gearbox?

We don’t know anything about it. Maybe it takes place before blood and wine, or before the whole game? Maybe it’s only a ramp up to W4, can’t judge it there until we know more.
