A wee experiment for my friends in the US… please answer without looking up the answers!
- What is the name of this building?
- Who owns it?
- What country is it in?
Again, no cheating! If you don’t know some/all of the answers just say ‘don’t know’.
Feel free to shitpost humorous responses but don’t forget the ‘/s’ if you do.
If you’re curious about the building or why I’m asking, save this post and I’ll update it later.
I don’t care
My country’s a mess
Probably my or your countries pedophiles
Suck it trebeck
Send help
- Big Stone Airb&b
- Rich fuck
- Probably Not Australia
How’d I do?
Fairly accurate tbh 😅
Moderately well-traveled American here. I have absolutely no idea.

Shh.
As of 2038 It is now called Kock castle, owned by Chase Koch, he moved to last year to Wichita Kansas
Just another American checking in to say that I have no idea.
I would guess it was located in the UK, but that’s about it.
shrugs
It’s got those faux slit windows and things made up to look like crenelations, but I’d say that it was never a fortification, as it has large, indefensible downstairs windows.
That’ll probably place some constraints on construction timeframe, since the “manor houses styled to look like fortifications” thing only happened after wealthy people owning fortifications were a thing.
Is this Balmoral Castle in Scotland? Where the Queen died? That’s the best guess I have.
Not American, but haven’t a clue. The terraced lawn makes me think it is British.
- Hogwarts
- The Queen of England
- Scotland
Hoo-rah motherfuckers. Where’s my money? USA USA USA. 🦅🇺🇸🔫 /s
One out of three so you’re the winner so far.
Have some crypto that I’ve just invented myself 💰. Expect it to appreciate big style as crypto always does.
I’m not from the US and don’t know. Looks like the kind of place Tom Baker might land a blue box beside and run around chasing aliens.
Maybe not Tom Baker but wouldnt be surprised to see a wealthy aristocrat with a shotgun using tourists for target practice.
Lol, no idea whatsoever. Also it took me way too long to figure out this was four shots of the same building, not four different castles.
- Camelot
- King Arthur
- Wales
You know, I heard King Arthur came a lot
- Traitors Castle
- The host of Traitors
- Scotland
Easy peasy
Ooh ooh ooh can I play? I’m not from the US though.
Tap for the correct answer that I obviously know
Uh. Windsor castle?
Edit: lolno I just looked up what Windsor Castle looks like and I’m out.
