I didnt realize i got banned from several communities on a singular instance because i was “rowling stan”, in reality i was telling people that you it’s mentally unhealthy wishing death on people even public figures.

https://sh.itjust.works/post/61133592 original post you’ll have to check my modlogs on what got removed.

im actually concerned that these lemmy communities are being insular and promoting mentally unhealthy behaviors like being hostile to someone saying wishing death on public figures is bad.

I dont have an answer on how to tackle the problem since I dont know these people, but they should be encouraged to be more vulnerable and we should meet them with compassion and understanding.

No public figure is descriptive term. It means someone that is very well known or makes public appearances. Also I said jk Rowling by name so I narrowed it down to a singular person so idk how that’s vague.

Go ahead keep making excuses. I doubt they’ll ever get the results you want

You said “Rowling Stan”. I probably should have picked up on it, but it took me looking back at the post to figure that out. That point is less relevant.

I’m actually happy you admitted you small mistake. It makes me feel like you can adapt and grow as a person. 🙂

I actually like seeing change in people.

Admitting fault isn’t growth if it’s something regularly practiced. I stand by the rest of the sentiment.

That’s actually a healthy mindset and I agree.

I just have actual hope for you given how everyone else is on a war path over an admittedly small issue.

I actually don’t care too much about celebrating death threats. It really is about their mental health and trying to pursue more positive and productive routes
