Slavery is constitutionally legal in the US if it’s punishment for a crime. Larger corporations use inmates for cheap manual labor. How do I, a small business owner, legally acquire inmates to work in my shop? The interns and part-time teen workers just aren’t cutting it.

Contract with a prison for labor. That’s how most businesses do it. You don’t get them to work in your shop, you get them to produce whatever onsite in the prison. Good luck with your shit morals if you do that, though. Hopefully anyone who actually takes advantage of this gets what’s coming to them with the rest of the evil fucks ruining the world.

I guess if I wanted them to work in my shop I’d have to hire security so they don’t run off. I’m probably too old to chase anyone. Think I could get them to provide me with a guy for that too?
