minus-squarenormanwall@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up0·11 days agoHe has spoken of the USSR and historical Russia, I think he has been hoping to try and take over all of the surrounding land to restore the ‘empire’ and have better protection with the mountainous regions. I don’t think the Ukrainian government would have made any difference no matter who they are.
