I have been every level of drunk possible, and I’ve never wanted to murder someone.

Count yourself lucky. Some of us (including me) are belligerent drunks. It’s one of many reasons I cut myself off at two drinks, on the rare occasions when I drink at all. Though in my case, it was more about getting in fights rather than shooting people. That’s one benefit of not owning a gun.
