This has nothing to do with casting votes for actually dead people, but marking actually alive people as dead to cut them off from all finances, income, banking, government benefits etc as part of an “immigration crackdown” (even though it also included some US citizens and legal permanent residents).
You’re right and I’m aware of that. I simply saw a parallel to one of the best old Simpsons episodes and posted the quote 🙂
