In Poland, a close ally of neighbouring Ukraine, concerns are growing that the war could spill across the border. Our next report comes from Suwałki, a city in a region bordering Russia and Belarus that is considered particularly sensitive for NATO countries. Caitlin Brown reports.



I’m all for admitting crimes of the past, if both sides do it. The current narrative that’s being pushed onto us is more like “Ukrainians were the sole aggressors, Poles did nothing wrong”.
And for some reason they don’t push nearly as hard to acknowledge the Polish victims of communism, which were more numerous and horrible. Yet the country that gets blamed for everything wrong in Polish history is the one that currently isn’t a threat to it.
