IPv6 and NAT traversal shipped: two Low ID clients can now transfer to each other, plus Usenet, a fake-file detector, Docker and more since March.
News from eMule Qt, the modern, cross-platform remake of eMule (client for eD2k & Kad P2P filesharing networks) with additional features.

AFAIK, the first one to have that capacity was emuleai https://github.com/eMuleAI/eMuleAI
Both emule-qt and amule (has this as experimental feature.), both follow the steps of emule AI.
This is a feature that should have been implemented 20 years ago. Better late than never.
eMule Qt is a free, open-source file sharing client for the ED2K and Kademlia networks, with a full Usenet engine built in
Kind of an odd client. They should have given it a different name like maybe uMule since it’s a weird hybrid usenet client + eMule client :P
EDIT - Yeah it’s all AI code, with probably a AI copied website with AI posts. At least they are upfront about that https://emule-qt.org/2026/03/05/hello-emule-2026/
Only one contributor to the GH repo, and it’s Claude. Although IPv6 support does look nice.
Technically Claude did only a single commit in the beginning https://github.com/ModderMule/emule-qt/graphs/contributors?from=25%2F10%2F2025
Having it in the list of contributors doesn’t mean it’s all ai generated
Although a human wouldn’t have done so many edits to the claude.md https://github.com/ModderMule/emule-qt/commits/main/.claude/CLAUDE.md and it is difficult to do 80 commits per week on a hobby project
Wow, not even a single human contributing!
Nice! Many of new features, someone put lots of love into this
I don’t think Claude can put love into its output
