I currently have a Switch OLED & getting a Switch 2, but that leaves me with two consoles (one older model vs the latest variant) despite having two accounts in separate regions. I’m thinking I’ll use them for separately with different games as they’ll be designated by each account. The gripe I have is managing both consoles at once, you can only use 1 HDMI port at a time (despite my TV capping at 3).
At the same time, it ends up with one console sitting there collecting dust whilst the other is being used heavily. If speaking by that logic, does it end up being wasteful when it could’ve been resold? I have a ToTK OLED and now a Zelda themed Switch 2, the OLED model with a Zelda skin on it may become rare someday once the original Switch including OLED cease production in the future.
I don’t think you’re really earn anything from holding on to your old console that even you don’t want to play and specifically bought the newest one to replace, and that can run the same gales but with better performance. Even if you could sell it $50 more, is it worth it? Also you could give it to a kid, teenager, or student you know
If you want to be able to light up a room with only one entrance, no.
If you want to be able to light up a hallway from either end, yes. Also, I don’t know about “OLEDs” and “2s,” but one of the switches needs to be a 3-way.
