5. Did I just take it? I did remember taking it, I think, maybe? But I forgot to mark it off… Or was it a memory from yesterday? Oh well, guess I wouldn’t really know now, so I’m just not going to take another.
6. I just don’t feel like it today.

I literally RSDed myself out of deleting my Reddit account. All while intellectually understanding (from the very beginning) that it’s emotion disregulation at work, and that no mod was really out to get me, nor cared, but that’s just cause Reddit is such a big place they couldn’t be sympathetic to and follow up on every post violation without burning themselves out.

I think the feeling of “all my friends hate me” can be a pretty vanilla ADHD experience too tbf. Although for the longest time before diagnosis, I thought that about my colleagues.

Oh, reading a manual is a very involved process for me. First, I’ll put the task in my bullet journal, then I’ll postpone it to the next week, then to the month, then to the next month. And then, if I feel lucky, I’ll bring it back into my daily log, and postpone it a few more days before getting annoyed with writing it down so many times that it could fill a full page, and finally reading it.

When I get annoyed by some internet stranger’s conduct online, I don’t engage. I disengage. Life’s too short to get worked up over the little things I find, and we’ll all feel better when we don’t engage in that negativity.

Yes, I’ve blocked people without ever saying a single word. Sometimes while lurking, I’ll find some conduct (not beliefs, conduct) that I disagree with. I don’t then go on and admonish them, I make them “disappear” from my life, then go on thinking about what I should eat for dinner.

I see “more bike paths” and I also say ‘yes’.

If the road is narrow and visibly winding with lots of trees close by, you bet those cars would slow down just to not wreck themselves. All while everyone else can use the road as normal.

Automoderation is rather uncompassionate and emotionless. I didn’t leave Reddit just to join Reddit lite, I don’t like it.

Know when to let go sometimes. When you can start to tell a friend is getting irritated by a discussion (or worse, a debate), drop it, even if it’s naturally hard to do so. You’re friendship isn’t worth whatever inconsequential thing you are getting way too deep into.
