October Rust is SUCH a good album. Type O w/ Peter Steele (is there Type O without?..) was really something special. Love You to Death & Wolf Moon for me from that album. Unreal stuff.

As someone that was born in Australia but doesn’t love identifying as one I think Harold Thomas got it absolutely bang on! The Australian Indigenous flag should be the National Australian flag. Black night sky, big yellow sun, and iron rich red dirt. The current Australian flag fkn sucks.

Recently I had a note-worthy experience at Marmelo in Melbourne CBD: The wait staff asked the usual “still or sparkling” I opted for still, as it’s usually free/tap but others opted for sparkling. Turns out the sparkling was from a tap so it was also free! And I’m noticing this more and more in establishments, in Melbourne at least.
