I have only ever seen Cyberpunk in 2k res, ultra graphics, ultra widescreen, ray-tracing and good fps at a friend’s house and it does indeed look nice. But in my opinion there are too many reflective surfaces. It’s like they are overdoing the reflectiveness on every object just because they can. They could have done a better job at making it look realistic.

Also, fuck GNOME. When I tried Ubuntu in 2009 it was GNOME that made me hate Linux until I learned that KDE Plasma was a thing.
SteamOS was my tutorial and today I run Arch on my main system. But I like learning and I like the fact that I can build my own system and choose my own components. I understand that Arch is not for everyone but for me it’s perfect.

The Democrats are the same as GOP politicaly but less extreme. The USA doesn’t have any real left leaning parties.

0·1 year agoI would like to recommend Dave the Diver, Inscryption and Curious Expedition (first one). All of them are superb indie games. It might not be the genres you’re asking for but I would still highly recommend them if you want to try something new.

0·1 year agoI have been waiting so many years now for Skyblivion that I am not going to bother with the Remaster. And to be honest, something with the Remaster and UE5 feels off visually.
The Skyblivion Teams attention to detail and love for the project makes me believe that it will also be the superior version of Oblivion.

0·2 years agoFair enough. We have the EUCD here and as I mentioned we cooperate with America to uphold copyright. I don’t know exactly what is EU law and US law but they seem pretty similar. Ether way, our personal rights here reign supreme. Doesn’t matter if it’s copy protected.

0·2 years agoMany European countries (and companies there in) listen to and respect DMCA takedown requests and my point is that it does not apply to individuals. So yes, it applies in Sweden too. Maybe after Trump is done destroying the diplomatic relationships with Europe we can finally start not giving a shit about DMCA.
Same thing kinda happened to TF2. I mean, Competitive is dead but the server browser and community servers are not what they used to be. I miss when it was front and center. Today most people just play casual on Valve servers.
After a quick search it seems like the CS2 in-game server browser has gone to complete shit. I hope Valve fixes it. It’s part of the Source Legacy.

0·2 years agoIt exists in Sweden. We are allowed to make private copies of movies, music and whatever. If I want to rip a CD and give it to my family and friends that is 100% legal. But it’s not legal to sell the copies.

My problem is more with wet surfaces and the likes. Walking around the city it feels like every little water puddle is mirror and a spoon can also reflect way too much. I don’t mind shining chrome body parts.
