I always pick a transcendental irrational number. If they make the mistake to only ask me for a number it’s gonna be complex. What do you mean, “is it greater than 5?”? What the hell is “great than”???

Yeah, I love those few rpgs where quick travel just doesn’t exist, or at least only in a diegetic way (Gothic 1 + 2 comes to mind). “Just don’t use it” doesn’t cut it most of the time, since the game designers need to be forced to make the game actually fun while having to walk everywhere.

But you can have shorts and a T-shirt already at 25, those extra 15 degrees just make it unbearable. (Greetings from a country where AC is basically Hitler)

I enjoyed the game itself but it was very unstable for me on my Linux PC with an AMD gpu. From what I could find that’s a common issue, but I guess it speaks for the quality of the game that I still completed it by quickly moving from savepoint to savepoint and restarting each time.

I still think Jedi Survivor was the better game altogether. There’s a lot of criticism about missing quicktravel, but honestly I enjoyed having to traverse the levels to your target and back to the spaceship, it felt more like a cohesive adventure.

Agreed, the technology exists and bad faith actors will from now on be able to use it for massive disinformation. No matter what happens, you just need some computing power, some decently smart people and time and you can train an LLM from scratch. But those damn datacenters can still be not build.

I recommend visiting the Louvre and going to the room with the Mona Lisa. It’s a tiny image, alone on a huge wall constantly surrounded by dozens of people and you can’t see shit. But turn around in the very same room and there’s an absurdly big image covering basically the entire opposing wall, it’s hugely impressive but I don’t think more than like 10 people a day even notice it
