They want power and control and they want to maintain that power and control so they can feel superior

I can relate to this. I’m currently struggling with my social anxiety and I wish i could make it go away.

It’s because the people are in an abusive relationship with the current system . Like the victim in the abusive relationship the people don’t realise they’re in an abusive relationship or they don’t want to believe their partner (the system) is abusive. The similarities between how abusers treat their victims and how the system treats people is uncanny.
