More evidence I did the right thing by completely avoiding Sony this generation.

I had SurfShark years ago but really do not recommend them. Constant problems with all traffic just stopping and then I had to call someone up to cancel my subscription as there was no option online.
Switched to AirVPN which I don’t see talked about much but it’s great. The Android app is looking a little dated (the icon in the app drawer is in a tiny circle because they have added support for adaptive icons still) but functionally I can’t complain.

I stopped using Reddit fully once Stealth stopped working so I’m over it at this point.

7zip is better anyway I don’t understand why people still use WinRar. Then again I don’t understand why people still use Windows either.

I’d have been a day one customer if they’d bothered making a PC version and hadn’t arbitrarily blocked Linux users from GTA Online a couple of years ago. Now they can get fucked.

The PS4 was sub-£200 at this point in its lifetime. The PS5 has only gotten more expensive. The more casual audience/the people with another primary system aren’t rushing out to buy another overpriced box for their living room.
I mostly only play single player games too but of the four used in this meme I only thought one of them was any good.

A disc with a licence on it is better than a single use download code.

That’s a pretty good deal. It won’t be as power efficient as the Steam Machine but at least it’s powerful enough to play modern games.

Jellyfin just works.

Survival crafting is such a boring genre. It’s such a let down when I see an interesting game on the Steam Store Front and it turns out to be exact same dull gameplay loop.

I don’t think so. It’s a very new flagship Samsung TV and it does put itself into PC mode.

It’s nice they’ve finally released an official SteamOS doe desktop usage but I don’t see why anyone would ever choose it over Bazzite.

Yeah I’ve tried all supported codecs and messed around with HDR too but it’s always the same.

I’m still tempted at this price. It’s about the same as a similarly specced custom build but will have much lower running costs.
Ideally I’d just use Sunshine and Moonlight to play in my living room but the colours are always washed out whenever I try.

Not always. Some Steam games are entirely DRM-free and can be run without Steam.

Just get them on Steam and then if the day ever comes that Valve yanks them away from you it’ll be morally acceptable to pirate everything you’ve already bought.

I bought a Retroid 4 Pro and a 5 not long after they launched and found both were far too uncomfortable for me to use. Now I play lightweight retro games on my TrimUI Brick and more demanding games on my ROG Ally.

Why would I want to research every random company I’m applying to work for? There is absolutely no job on the planet that I’d actually enjoy doing so why would I pretend for the sake of an interview? I have skills that employers need and employers have salaries that I need. It’s as simply as that.
Least enjoyment for me was Star Wars Squadrons. I wasn’t interested in the slightest but my friend convinced me to buy it full price on release. It was rubbish and I barely touched it. A couple of months later it was available for 98p.
Most value will be either GTA V, MW2 or Monster Hunter World. By far the highest playtime of any of my games.
