  • How is it not hard scifi? Genuinely curious given the whole hyper advanced civilisation, interdimensional space travel, transhumanism as a part of daily life,

    spoiler

entire chapters that introduce characters and settings that are wiped out of existence in a single sentence along with the underpinning story showing the contrasts between interstellar warfare and microscopic warfare over the artificially created representation of capital H Hell being used as a prison for political dissidents. ::: (minor ish spoiler)

Or is my understanding of hard scifi wrong?

  • Please elaborate on how the situation is “more complicated” to you. As of this past month there only remains about 40% of Gaza that is left unoccupied behind Israel’s imposed “yellow line”; the one where if anyone walks past it they’re shot. There are cities that have been razed to the ground and you say “Israel has been bad” like a misbehaving child.

Do you think a set of images listing out the multiple occasions where an invading and occupying force has murdered and displaced civillians is an exhaustive one, or the easiest and quickest way of cataloguing a series of warcrimes?

Also the gap is unfortunately my fault, I have double the 24-26 and missing the original for 02-23, you’ll have to, and scuse the phrase “do your own research” on those years because I can’t be bothered to argue the semantics of the genocide with you when your only argument is ‘You didnt say everything that you possibly could have so I can disregard everything you’ve said as ramblings of an idle mind’

  • Then block me if my way of speech is that annoying?

You’ll never have to see anything that doesn’t fit neatly into your beliefs or anything that isn’t a purely literal answer to a question again.

But hey, in an effort to seem like less of a cunt; I googled it for you.

" In 2015, Congress passed the USA Freedom Act, which placed some limitations on the government’s use of Section 215. Under the new law, the government must provide a “specific selection term” that identifies the subject of the investigation before it can obtain a business records order. "

It’s still alive. It’s just been changed to fit with the times, because like with all that I brought up, the times have changed, and surveillance has changed with it.

Want to know if it’s actually stopped any terrorist attacks since 2015? Ask yourself how many mass shootings have occurred since then, and if they would count as a terrorist attack (or if the government would even tell you that the attacker/s were manipulated by a foreign entity or instead just say they were public enemy du jour.)
