Sure but calling them Americans is likely, mostly, sorta true but also ignores an important fact… They were Europeans (or near descendants of) calling the places that. Often a place was named that place because it reminded them of home / to honor their parents home.
Some other notable examples: New Zealand São Carlos, Brazil Munich, Saskatchewan Liverpool, New South Wales Nueva York, Colombia
Country dependant. Some places it’s highly common some with up to 50/50 split, where I am 2% pay out to the kitchen is typical / required, other places it is illegal as management to even ask the server to split tips.

I can chime in here (I work in plant based meat). It should be but it’s not. Why… Lots of reasons. But basicly it’s split between animal based meat is artificially cheap and plant based meat costs a lot to make. A lot of the costs (for the good brands) are in the flavorings.

Chillll… Its just donkey meat and the internet. The government does in fact talk about it. They publish reports about animal meat production and consumption like every nation. It’s part of their annual reports that prove a point that I really don’t care about at all. If you want to say they only eat cow in Argentina because you know best and no one can use internet sources to prove you wrong… Fine. Great. I don’t know what to say. You won this internet battle! Uhhhh… I have been to Argentina. I was there a long time. Can’t say I saw donkey meat. Also doesn’t mean it is not there, or eaten. All I can do it tell you what the Argentinien government has to say about it.

This is usually the case. There seems to be a nugget of truth in it, but articles always make it seem larger than life. Horse mule and donkey meat consumption is in fact up. Is it significant - no. Is it common, also no. Is it a THING? Na, no it’s not a thing. It’s simply slightly higher than it was before but still very rare.
It doesn’t make sense for it to be a common thing as there simply is not enough donkeys in the country, even if you were to slaughter them all for it is be common. Apparently there is 59k donkeys and 50,920,790 cows in Argentina. There seems to be a 7-16% increase in the slaughter of donkeys for meat although this number seems to be in question. It apparently is a third the cost of cow meat.
I’m not in the UK but in Germany. That seems low and Germans are cheap AF. I usually expect things to be more expensive there. I don’t know about Googles overview, but this is what Google has to say.

Tuna was not always popular and when people didn’t know what it was it helped people know what they are buying. The US also having a large portion of bilingual people with a Spanish base, this helps it not get confused with cactus fruit (apparently tuna in Spanish)
