There was a How Money Works/How History Works video talking about the origins of the stock market. Literally just rich fucks gambling with other rich fucks about make believe shit. Eventually us poors wanted a part of the fun and now our entire system is built upon the house of cards. 🙃

A lot of his videos are just his experience of a thing or topic, but some of them he brings in factual basis. Can’t say I’ve fact checked any of this video but he provides a lot of sources so that helps the credibility. I find him as something pleasant to watch most Monday mornings before work.

Agreed, $3.6mil doesn’t seem like that much to fix infrastructure problems (see cost of updating the US power grid estimates), but you know who also doesn’t think $3.6mil isn’t that much? Billionaires. Such a small denomination of money to people like that.

I didn’t realize HDDs are taking a hit now… I’m moving overseas and opted to move my sever with me instead of rebuilding since ram alone is close to 1k now. I didn’t price HDDs at the time cause they are only 4 years old… Sure hope they hold on for another few years…

I’m in the same boat as you. Used Textra and Mighty Text years back but want to try swapping back. Doesn’t seem like anything can compete with the robust features Messages has right now, unfortunately…

I mean come on. Who thinks it is “right” or even legal to roll through a red light on any type of vehicle…? That’s a shame on the riders, no?
