Unfortunately most people are intimidated and wary of Linux because “some of my programs might not work”
Average people aren’t going to learn a new system because the whole “devil you know” thing.
Simply, the majority of people would rather stick with MS than install a new OS.
Well, yeah, of course he is, because he’s easily bought and sold.
I’ve tried to get so many people to switch to Qobuz. “but my super obscure metal band that nobody’s heard of isn’t on there.” 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Fuck Spotify.
Not sure what your insurance situation is, but I’ve had a really good experience though Rula. My therapist is great, and we have a biweekly session set up. I generally do it from my work truck.
Ahhhhhh for sure for sure. I missread the article. I thought the lawsuits were from spotify/Google/deezer. My bad.
Either way, I’m in the camp of “let them all destroy eachother…”
But that’s exactly my point. Spotify and Google aren’t going to pass these lawsuit winnings off to the artists. They’re going to keep it for themselves and pat themselves on the back like they did a good job of stopping the AI company from stealing.
On one hand, I’m happy that an AI company got slapped on the wrist for this. On the other, I don’t give a shit about Google or Spotify.
I hope all of these companies burn and all the money can go to the music artists.
I mean, tbf to Milli Vanilli, they dropped out. In fact, their response was something along the lines of “we never signed up for this shit”
Oh neat. So we’re doing this again.
My dude, I’m paying $6 over here in California. I would love to have $4 gas.
Don’t forget that they are also doing this to desensitize and normalize this for children…
Okay, but how am I expected to read this?
There’s just so much text.
No, honestly, this is a great explanation. That’s how I basically thought it works, but I’m very new to the ecosystem, and didn’t want to make assumptions.
Okay, I understand that Linux Mint can be Ubuntu or Debian… But as a Mint user, would these changes even take place on my end? I don’t entirely understand how these versions are forked. I don’t believe I use Ubuntu… But is mint just built on a new Ubuntu infrastructure?
Can someone smarter than me please help? Lol
My dude is that what I said?
I am very anti-big oil. I also acknowledge the fact that big oil has fucked us.
I think if we can break away from their stranglehold on the industry, we can expand our grid and make EV happen. We also have a very large country with nothing in the middle. There are states without any electric chargers installed. It’s a very big hurdle.
I never said we should slow EV adoption. If anything, I think they need to give everybody an electric car for free and make solar panels standard everywhere. But that’s not going to happen because of capitalism.
I’m not using big oil talking points. I’m saying in reality, because of the damage that big oil has done to keep us from going electric, the infrastructure is not currently there.
They’ve paid money to keep us from expanding our grid. They are saying it won’t work because they are making sure it doesn’t.
I completely agree with you that I think it is absolutely possible, but there are bigger things blocking the way.
I mean… The main reason is people don’t have money for a new car. Also the electrical infrastructure in this country is not ready for everyone to go electric.
The gas and oil industries have paid TONS of money to keep people locked into gas vehicles.
Once again, the rich continue to fuck the rest of us.
I can also add, as a vegetarian myself, a vegan diet is nowhere near as cheap.
Unless you have the ability to grow all your own produce and protein, vegans are spending just as much if not more for those calories/proteins.
Just delete your account there big guy.
What a piece of shit bootlicker.
My guess is not enough bathrooms.
