It would take 15 seconds to look up “<technology> release date” and use that as a reference.

0·2 years agoLots of game developers started off as hobbyist modders when they were young. Maybe they’re trying to eliminate the future competition. More likely, Denuvo’s actual primary purpose is DRM and anti-cheat is just how it’s sold to players.
I’ve never used Ubuntu and I don’t have a 4090, so I am wholly unqualified to answer that question. My comparison was between Mint and Pop. That being said, Canonical has had its more than fair share of controversies in the past, so you’d probably want to avoid them if it’s convenient to do so, all else being equal.
