and global warming is my fault because I driver older internal combustion engine vehicles and do not have solar panels on my roof. every time I read about data centers I can feel my brain accumulating more and more injuries.
oh I’ll lock in, but I have no choice what i will lock in to, nor how long I’ll be locked in.
it has been my experience that avoiding these type of tasks leads to me completing my personal “backlog” of projects. so if you are struggling with how you feel after avoiding said task, try to look at what you did get done and take those minor victories.

of my collection of neurodivergencies, dyslexia is not one of them, but I will use opendyslexic when reading ebooks.

“i love you bro”.
something to let him know you support him and he can rely on you. definitely nothing apologetic or mournful, this isn’t a bad thing.
if he’s cool you could go with “duh” or “makes sense” or to quote my wife “I could have told you that”.

we were mandated to double our outout to justify what the company is spending on Claude and to do so we were told to use god awful skills that are constructed in a way that often ignore guide rails and bypass permission rules causing more time to be wasted in debugging and fixing shitty ai slop than would have been spent actually by humans planning and implementing sound changes.

this may not be for everyone nor actionable, but I managed to raw-dog ADHD for years by having dependents (small children and pets) that need cared for.

I’ve seen some trash human written stories and confluence pages. it is going to hilarious to the the slop generated based on those.

curious (well not really) that it is only consumer grade. nothing about business grade, of even a deliniation as to where “pro-sumer” falls. if this is a big brother situation then the consumer only thing makes perfect sense. it also drives users back to isp supplied hardware which means more rental fees, so more money CEOs.

That shouldn’t even be classified as violence since it is a response to actions that are a direct threat to life.

To add to your point, a lot of comedy involves taking the power away from the powerful, and look who’s powerful right now
As an old-head full stack developer who prefers back end because there is no ux, just information flow, I can tell you that you are seen.
Something like a survey that asks me to assess whether I agree or disagree on a scale of 1-5 fills me with so much anxiety, especially when the question is worded in such a way that makes me feel like it contradicts its sentiment, or just doesn’t apply to me. Why can’t they just give me a separate not applicable option.

You mean the ones that have a dumb shaped handle and all the edges are sharp, as if it was just punched out of a piece if sheet metal and dumped directly into the fork bin in my utensil drawer?

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of my favorite games, but even retcon-ing it in its current state with phantom liberty, it is not as good as any of the games on this list post its initial release.
I remember this being a Sega channel staple for me and my brother.

I just had to switch from Vyvanse to Adderall XR because the only pharmacy in my area that didn’t have a backorder closed. It’s only been a couple weeks but I greatly prefer the Vyvanse, however the Adderall is better than being unmedicated. Adderall isn’t as “smooth” and it gave me a tummy ache and caused headaches due to inadequate hydration. Since I figured out the hydration issue the headaches haven’t been a problem and I think the tummy ache was just due my old guts getting acclimated to a new medication.
All that said, I am in a similar boat financially, my insurance wasn’t paying for the Vyvanse so I ended up using my entire HSA contribution every month, and the Adderall is $20.

You’ve got that backwards. US consumes the heavy stuff because it is cheap and they have the ability to refine it. They sell the light stuff to places that do not have the refining capacity to refine the heavy stuff.
I am in my 40s, Wall-e is probably my favorite movie, but that may speak more towards me getting some sort of validation from my neurodivergence assigning personalities and human-like emotions to inanimate objects.
we were given $1000/mo limits. when i asked if i could have the cash instead of using Claude i was laughed at.
