Wow, it’s interesting how different shows resonate differently with different people. I was on the edge of my seat through the whole series.

I agree about the fact that watching those type of shows is not enjoyable. But not everyone feels that way about Breaking Bad, including me. Yes the main characters do a lot of wrongs, but the writers do a good job at showing their humanity and didn’t portray them as “evil” people.

1·7 months agoBy “still talks“, I mean, still talks in his autobiography, which was written years upon years later, when he was already supposedly sober and probably in his early 40s.

0·7 months agoHere’s the thing though: he did mention it in his autobiography, which was written years later after this event happened. And his tone was still nonchalant. So whether he “regrets” ever mentioning it or not, it still doesn’t change the way with which he wrote about it when he was already in his early 40s.

2·7 months agoI get it. And I think that’s what it was for people. But I still don’t fully “get” it because it was like any other rock stars autobiography: debauchery, sex, drug use. I guess people like reading about those.

5·7 months agoYes!!! The biggest red flag is not that it happened, it’s his tone of recalling these events.

8·7 months agoI think it has more to do with the tone with which he recalls the incident. There is no regret or acknowledgment of how inappropriate that was.

2·7 months agoAbsolutely! I hear people saying about how good this autobiography is. But I don’t know what the hell they’re talking about. It’s written in such a flat tone, it sounds like he was bored himself while writing it.
I actually checked and you may be right.
I think there’s an extra chicken in the 2nd line.

I do agree with you. While the health concerns with dogs are valid, I do feel like there should be some designated dog friendly places. It can get really difficult to arrange your schedule around so that the dog doesn’t stay at home for too long. I live with my mom and my boyfriend, and we almost never go places with the 3 of us as a group.
Also, health issues aside, as far as being disruptive, I feel like kids can be just as disruptive. With so many businesses disallowing dogs, it can sometimes feel like you’re almost being punished for having a dog.

0·1 year agoI agree that the part that is really messed up is that no one is stopping this.
I’m Ukrainian living in the US, I know.
And yet, there are idiots all over social platforms who bitch (and even joke!) about how they’re “tired of giving money to Ukraine). I only wish they knew how painful that is to see. I wish that they at least had the courtesy to keep their mouth shut.
I mean, just look at the comment fro the user “Ryan” to a post about a new schedule at the visitor’s center:
If you have trouble opening, I’ll copy and paste.
OP from Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park:
“NEW VISITOR CENTER HOURS FROM THE Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks official Facebook Account . . .
Schedule update!
The adjusted schedule for visitor centers are as follows:
⛺️ Foothills Visitor Center is open Wednesday – Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
🌳 Giant Forest Museum is open Friday – Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
⛰️ Kings Canyon Visitor Center is open Thursday – Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.”
This one guy responds: “This sure seems like a lot of cuts given the limited number of job losses that I’ve read about. Is this just a political statement? While I wish the federal government would spend more on parks, I’m questioning my substantial donations at this point if efforts aren’t being made to make the best of the situation.”
To be fair, a lot of the do lean blue and are livid. But there are a lot of angry boomers on FB.
Yea, it’s heartbreaking to see comments like “I’d rather [xyz] than give another billion to Ukraine.” Just no words. I wish these people at least had the courtesy to shut the fuck up.
I mean, every year my rent increases and my pay doesn’t (not every year). So every year I have less to spend each month.
The thing that pisses me off is that I’m not Asking to be able to afford a house. I already gave up on that a long time ago. I’m only asking to be able to stay at a place that I’ve been living in for 10 years. And by the way, moving is also super expensive. On top of that, let’s say I did move to a place where the rent is cheaper initially, the rent is gonna be increasing every year there too.
I’m just trying to live a stable, modest life without having a panic attack every time I see her, no tape to my door (which usually signifies a rent increase notification).
I really wish something could be done about this.

Me too.
