I have zero interest in becoming poly, exploring the idea, etc. it doesn’t appeal to me at all. But from a sociological standpoint, it’s very interesting to me personally to consider the dynamics of those relationships and to understand how they can vary from person to person, group to group.
I don’t have any experience with that community but I promise you that painting with a broad brush like you’re doing is wrong. You don’t know this individual. You’re assuming the worst without ever engaging in conversation with them personally. Unless you do know this person in which case I apologize.
As soon as I saw the photo, my eye caught “sister” in the text and I assumed the worst. Was pleasantly surprised at how little incest was involved here.
Maybe it’s just me but I feel like an AMA from your perspective as a poly individual would be very interesting, as long as folks were respectful.
And after you’re done fucking off, please go right ahead and keep fucking off until you reach the sun
Pardon my ignorance, but if your blood has high levels of PFAS, wouldn’t you then be donating contaminated blood?
“Worse than youtube comments” got me crying 😭
“Maybe we’ll start reading again” obviously implies that something is lacking presently and that with luck, we’ll go back to the way things were
Not sure if you’re saying I’m outraged but I promise you I’m not, just thought it was lame to try and imply audiobook enjoyers were somehow less than because of how they prefer to enjoy stories
There is literally zero shame in someone consuming audiobooks, and it’s deeply weird to act like something is lost to you if others enjoy them. And this is coming from someone who virtually never listens to audiobooks.

The gulf between Nintendo’s legal/corporate office and the game designers/developers is staggering to me
You want to gut our healthcare? Fine. Education? No problem. Infrastructure and key systems of governance? Be our guest.
But if you even think of exaggerating a little more than the expected amount in a fast food advertisement, you will face the wrath of a thousand mighty eagles dual wielding AR-15’s in a torrent of judicial violence.
I think it was a legitimate response but just exaggerated for the purposes of comedy
I think the alternative is that it was a joke
God, three days just absent from all of this chaotic persistent mental attack from all sides
I’ve been asked a lot over the last few weeks whether I was going to go and see Thunderbolts, and every time I’m asked I give the same answer: lol absolutely not.
I’m all for reading a whole piece before casting any judgement on the author or content, but when your opening line comes off as snotty, sarcastic sixteen year old who’s way too cool to watch a comic book film, it’s hard to give them a fair shake.
Same. I was over here thinking “is the world we live in just a closed pod, are we alone in here?” like it was maybe really deep and inspiring
