As an also-Canadian I’ll chime in here to say that there are definitely people in this country without health insurance coverage. If you’re here as a non-resident, you typically don’t have government insurance and are subject to out-of-pocket billing. I believe there are about half a million people in Ontario in this situation, not sure about other provinces.

I know the OP was supposed to be rhetorical, and I agree that the American healthcare is an embarrassment — but the reality of healthcare administration is complicated, and I’m not sure dumbing it down like this is all that helpful.

Honestly my mailbox is like 10 pizza flyers for every actual letter. And most of those actual letters are just bank statements that I can’t figure out how to switch to digital.

fwiw I’ve owned a pair of Shokz running headphones for like 5 years now and they still work great. No noticeable issues with battery degradation. Maybe only issue is the rubber cover for th USB socket got stretched and I recently cut it off.

That ship has long sailed. The chinese are so far ahead in every respect on this. There is no point trying.

I suspect she was, deep down, not a particularly reflective person. We all know people like these. Feel a feeling, act on it immediately, and maaaybe consider the implications and consequences later. Maybe. Or just double down, and never dare to truly look at yourself in the mirror.

It’s unfortunate because these types of people also sometimes turn out to be incredible artists. I assume it’s the combination of talent plus the ability (/curse?) to experience raw feelings much more strongly than the rest of us.
