What Plex is selling is a relay service, so you can connect to your home media remotely, just like you can do with Tailscale etc. the second thing they are selling is user management, easily share media library with other people. Both of these are hard to set up for many people in Jellyfin

That is not really true and is more fear mongering. Palm oil is much better than any alternative that can be grown in the same regions. The issue is not palm oil but amount of consumption. Palm oil actually takes up less land than other crops that can produce that type of oil.

I agree. I grow up watching graphics get better and better, I saved money for a faster PC, was so excited when the 3Dfx VooDoo came out. It’s amazing how far game graphics have come (and how immersive and massive they can be, including the stories). I have nothing against people enjoying the indie games, but it’s not for me.

Conduit, around 100 users, barely breaks 0% usage in a Intel i5 micro PC. RAM is around 1GB used.

Not really understanding what problem you are trying to solve, but I have a 50 people Matrix server on Conduit, it’s running great, uses minimal resources and takes just minutes to set up. All clients support it and I haven’t seen any missing features yet.
