The “mast” in “mastodon” is the same one as in “mastectomy”.
“The term “mastodon” comes from Greek roots: “mastos” meaning “breast” and “odon” meaning “tooth,” referring to the nipple-like projections on the mammal’s fossil molars. The name was coined by French naturalist Georges Cuvier in 1806.”
I’m ESL too. Maybe it’s easier learning the writing rules as you learn the language. But even so, I find astonishing the amount of times “it’s” is improperly used. I mean, it’s not some obscure gramar rule (like say knowing when to use who/whom).
How hard can it be learning that “it’s” is the contraction of “it is”?
Also, are these people aware that the word “its” exists in the English language?
People have no sense of humor. I’m still surprised that no “smart aleck” has corrected you on the “encarnation” thing.

I once heard about a tribe in South America. Say a man had four wives. If he was asked how many wives he had, and in that moment he only could see two of them, he had to answer “I have two wifes”. I wonder if in this culture sarcasm would be a thing.

Fluenty enough to know it isn’t who’s but whose. But not enough to properly understand a movie or a tv show. So the worst of both worlds.

I can imagine OP’s reaction when they see a pregnant woman:

-These women totally turn me on.
-Waitresses?
-No, damn it, the pregnant ones! When I see one, I think they’ve been fucked. This one, for example; she’s sprawled out, they’ve fucked her, they’ve cum inside her, they’ve left the lump inside her… How else the hell (could she have gotten pregnant)?

Statistically, there are a million me per square km in the square meter around me.
Honest question. What is the origin/reason of this fashion to prevent the use of capitals?

Newborn baby girls can experience a phenomenon called “false menses” or “mini-periods” due to a sudden drop in maternal estrogen after birth, causing slight vaginal bleeding or a blood-tinged discharge that typically lasts only a few days.

"But, local media say, Amou Haji finally succumbed to pressure and washed a few months ago.
According to Iran’s IRNA news agency, he became ill shortly afterwards and died on Sunday."

Reading the answers to this questions, I’d say “Not understanding the meaning of most people”.
No one showing love for ncdu around here?
As the Sapnish saying goes “el roce hace el cariño”, that roughly translates as “you get fond of the people you spend time with”
