Whatup Tucson!

Rumor is that Imola will be the track.
Seriously. Forego the killing and death and just volunteer in your local community, but I guess that doesn’t sound as edgy in a tweet.

I listen to a podcast and it has helped me digest some of the more confusing aspects of this regulation set. Ringer F1

I joke that driving around Surprise is like the twilight zone since every intersection looks so similar.

Seems like Mercedes might have built a glass cannon.

California loses more people each year than live in the entire state of Wyoming, and that’s normal. If you know people that moved states for lower taxes, then I doubt they are billionaires. Why are you, someone who lives outside of California, so invested in a proposed law for a place you don’t live? I don’t live there either, but I don’t care about where billionaires live. I’m just pointing out that it’s mostly empty threats. Remember when Mamdani passed a tax on secondary residences and people threatened to leave? Guess what happened.

If this wasn’t California, I might somewhat agree with your statement. These people aren’t going anywhere, because the California coast is obscenely beautiful. Some might leave, but the majority will stay since the tax will end up just being a tiny inconvenience for their level of wealth.
The person in the chicken costume cracks me up.

Absolutely sucks for George. Great job by Lewis.

The organization is an absolute mess right now, including our district council. There’s so much that needs to be addressed, and it feels like they prioritized this situation over the actual needs of the organization. It feels hypocritical to have the kids recite the scout oath and law every meeting, while watching leadership get bullied by outsiders. It feels especially personal because now it seems like my daughter is about to be targeted. There are people still upset that girls are allowed, and they are about to feel much more emboldened by this latest misstep. It’s just mentally exhausting and I could spend my free time helping my community in other ways, that aren’t trying to exclude my kid.

I’m not the person your reply is to, but you’re spot on about where this is headed. From the DOD’s initial statement about Scouting America, it’s obvious that they want it to go back to excluding girls from the organization. As a current den leader, I was already dissatisfied with the way the organization is being run, and this is probably the final straw for me to just step away from them completely. Leadership is acting like cowards while also asking for donations. It’s incredibly disappointing.

If you knew how to drive, you most likely knew how to use a manual transmission.

My spouse is finishing a degree at 36 and kicking themselves they didn’t do it sooner. I’ll have some extra time in about 2 1/2 years and I want to try and fit in a class or two. It just depends on your situation, but if you’re needing a degree to get a better job, you’ll want to get to that earning potential ASAP. The cost could potentially just be a drop in the bucket if you still plan on working for another 30+ years. It can also be rewarding just to expand your knowledge and grow in unexpected ways. My advice is to just do it and get it over with already. Especially if it will lead to better opportunities and earnings. Or don’t, it’s your life.

7 is like being in a horror movie. Especially the beginning. It’s intense, and continues to build. Very different from the previous entries.
Holiday where banks are closed during normal business hours.
Kiss From a Rose by Seal. I couldn’t even tell you what the plot of Batman Forever was.
