It’s more than just dumb. It’s senseless. You gotta divorce yourselves from the love of the gun, cause this is never going to stop until you do. If it’s acceptable to you, carry on. Nothing to see here.

There was another one where the guy got in his car, chased them down, and ran them off the road. 3 murder charges over a doorbell.

The main difference is the Texas case involved a gun, in California the unstable psychopaths need to resort to vehicular manslaughter.

So this reminds me of when I was taking my CCW class and going over hypotheticals and legal ramifications.

One scenario was you see a kid opening your fridge would you shoot the kid. Now there was a church group there that was also taking the class with us and a few of them raised their hands and one was called.

    His answer was yes.

My group I was with all looked at each other and went WTF and just shook our heads, raised our hands and went of freaking course not because morally it would be soooo wrong even if it was legally okay.

I’m from Texas and can count the number of responsible gun owners with one hand. I understand why we need to be armed; still there are a lot of people that shouldn’t. Your story reminds of that shooting that happened at a church that happen to have the good guy with a gun tm. There was some talk about allowing some people to be armed at the church I was going to with my parents at the time. Some members and the pastor went to some event with a lawyer talking about some stuff around it and I joined out of curiosity. The overall meeting was pretty mehh, but there was a nice tangent about how much you can drink and still have your gun and ammo. Some cop that was in attendance tried to call them stupid, but they pushed back that its okay if you only drink such percent drink per hour or remove the receiver. Not a great look for the cream of the crop.

Because in America things like the Tulsa Race Massacre happen a fair bit, and the cops either stand by or join in, so you have to be able to defend you and yours.

Remember folks, armed minorities are harder to oppress.

Unfortunately the definition of fascism varies depending on who you’re talking to. There are an astounding number of people in this country who think that allowing abortion or gender affirming care are a form of fascism. And they think it’s alright to use guns to fight what they perceive as fascism.

Ding Dong ditch was knocking or ringing the doorbell and hauling ass away. These dipshits were beating and kicking on the door in a state where you can legally shoot through the door. Agree or disagree with that but if you live there you shouldn’t be so stupid.

The meme is referring to this murder of an 11 year old who just rang a doorbell and ran. The murderer was lying in wait in his yard with a gun, and shot the kid as he ran out of the yard with his cousin.

The cousin screamed for help and tried to save him, but he died shortly thereafter. A neighbor called the police. The murderer calmly walked back into his house, offering no aid, not in any fear for his life.

Yes I understand that. Hence the statement “I went back and looked again Someone posted another incident along side this one from Kentucky.” Someone posted that link in the first thread I read. They didn’t make it clear it wasn’t related to the latest incident. It was point in fact a admission that I got it wrong. Now you are caught up if you understand that. Yeeesh. I bet you feel that you should be right every time you get it wrong. Like this time for pointing out what I already acknowledged.
