Medicine isn’t real and I know this because when I was a kid my mom had to get her stomach pumped because she was sick and there was like a lifetime worth of pills just sitting in her stomach mostly undigested and then when we got home from the hospital she threw away all her pills and was so mad at big pharma that she still refuses to talk about it to this day
Put a pill in a glass of warm water and check on it in a few hours. If you mom was sick and had a bunch of pills in there it wasn’t because they just stocked up over the years.
Many newer pills have protective coatings that won’t dissolve in water, to prevent basement chemists from converting them into shit like meth…
Those sort of pills are designed to dissolve in stomach acids, so the warm water test isn’t a universal check.
Honestly I think another commenter hit the nail pretty close on the head though, I think their mom was secretly super depressed and tried to end her own life, but since she survived, she doesn’t want to talk about it.
Exactly, but rather than asking to talk about it OP wants to play a troll game. I’ve had someone in my house try and OD as well, it’s not something you forget.
