I got swarmed as a kid, and got several dozen bee stings. It was probably the most terrifying episode of my life, but I was fine.
I’m glad those Apes got a taste of that terror. A few bee stings never hurt anyone. They deserve it.
I agree with you but a few bee stings have definitely killed a lot of people.
My best friend has nearly died twice due to bee stings
So have “less than lethal” rounds. Pigs won’t hesitate to use violence on you when you are in the right so why shouldn’t you return the favor? If you keep letting bullies beat up kids with no repercussions do you think they have motivation to stop?
Hey I said I agree with the guy and that bees have killed people… I have no idea how they affect pigs. Probably fine, let em have it
Like that kid in my girl!
Who’s in your girl?

Gahhh! The situation has only been made worse by the addition of yet more bees!
90 years ago when the sherrif showed up to evict people like this…
The neighbors were already there with shotguns.
If the sherrif didn’t turn around, the county was soon having to vote for a new sherrif. And they usually voted for one that wouldnt even leave their office for an eviction call.
If anything ever went to trial out of it, juries were very unlikely to convict.
Sometimes people need to just stop giving any fucks. And we’re kind of getting there again…
I concur
It’s a crime to “brandish” a firearm because police can’t accept others having the same powers they do.
There’s a reason people carry rifles to protests…
It’s normal carry, it’s not brandishing
If only open carry were legal in all 50 states
Fucking Reagan. I still find it hilarious that California’s most effective gun control legislation came from the Arch-Conservative himself. And it was specifically written to prevent open carrying at protests.
Same thing would happen when a black person would try to move into a white neighborhood
Saw your username, then read your comment, and now I’m not sure what to do with my Fucks.

The real life Yellowjacket
(Yellowjacket is a public domain superhero from the 40s who could control bees. That’s it. He had a sweet costume though)
She got 6 months but will only do 2 more weeks because she was held without bail.
America is the toilet of jurisprudence.
The incident happened in 2022 and it’s only now that she got convicted? Is that what America calls “the right to a speedy trial”?
You have the right to a speedy trial, but most people do not invoke it because you want your lawyer to build a defense. You can waive a lot of stuff, including the right to a trial by jury itself, and just go right in front of a judge if you want, but he’s almost certainly going to find you guilty.
The cops also like to keep people in jail if they think they’ll lose the case, because at least the person will serve some time, even if they eventually get found not guilty. For example, Casey Anthony, who was found not guilty, but still spent 3 years in jail, which is about what she would have gotten had they convicted her of child neglect, instead of Capital murder, without even knowing the cause of death.
At least for federal cases, bench trials have higher acquittal rates (38%) than jury trials do (14%). That’s based on data from 2018-2022, and there may be case selection bias.
Beesus Christ!
OH YES THE BEES! OH YES!

This sounds like a teaser for the next Beekeeper movie.

This woman did nothing wrong.
Also this reveals cops have a pokemon style weakness to bugs because they can’t shoot them. Honestly we should be weaponizing bug swarms more. Maybe collect some bullet ants in a container that would break if people busted down your door.
I disagree that she did nothing wrong. If one of those cops was allergic, she could have killed them. They did claim one was and she responded “good”. Just like we say that cops are wrong for escalating and causing the death of people for minor offenses, the same is wrong here. And this was premeditated. The crime the cops were potentially(I don’t know the back story) committing does not fit the punishment. Plus she could have gotten herself killed. The fact that they didn’t shoot her implies these may even have been some of the few cops that show some restraint. If it had been ICE they would have opened fire immediately. So at the very least, potential getting killed would make what she did wrong.
The real crime lies with the judge who signed off on the eviction. The cops likely had no idea of the background of the person they were evicting when they showed up.
There are surely better ways to attempt to obstruct an eviction.
Enforcing eviction noticed isn’t a “minor offense”.
Landlords deserve the woodchipper.
I’m not going to poopoo on people for attempting to do the right thing in the moment. Obviously nobody died. Obviously the entire chain of events on the legal side from the landlord to the lawyers to the judges to the law enforcement doing the dirty work all stinks.
I don’t think there’s any point to sending this woman to jail, she obviously did what she could to disrupt the banality of evil going on. If the cop had died she would have seen bigger charges but imo this kind of pushback is necessary so that law enforcement IS afraid to do evil things.
If you think cops aren’t absolutely giddy at the thought of using violence against anyone and everyone, then I have a bridge to sell you.
Meh. Lot of handwringing for the cops, but where’s the handwringing for the cancer patient? Who’s to say the patient wasn’t immunocompromised, and that going outdoors could be a death sentence?
“Won’t somebody think of the poor cops abusing civilians for their epstein class overlords”
If one of those cops was allergic, she could have killed them.
I have more sympathy for the bee that dies because to sting is fatal. The loss of a pollinator is a loss for the world, the loss of a cop is… meh, some other asshole will sign up for the badge.
ICE has killed people because they were doing what I consider to be the right thing. You can’t determine what is right and wrong based on whether a cop might kill you for doing it.
If you read what I said. Putting herself in a position where the cops might kill her is what I said was wrong. Don’t give them an easy excuse. And don’t act like them and escalate. There are other ways to be an obstruction that if they do kill you will make bigger headlines and probably save your friend.
Oh, got it. I did misunderstand you. Thank you for the clarification.
DR BEES
What’s that? A deputy is coming to evict an old cancer patient? A large influx of bees ought to put a stop to that!
Wow someone is doin the Lords work!! Lmao jk I’m atheist and she’s in the right not the law
