    Every party I go to everyone gathers in the kitchen. Sometimes it’s the smallest room and people still all gather there to talk.

    It might be a cultural thing or it might just be everyone I know is always hungry, I dunno.

      I was in undergrad roughly a decade ago and hosted a lot of parties in my shitty college apartment. Those parties ended up with a group of people sitting in my kitchen so often my friends started referring to gatherings at my apartment as kitchen floor parties
