      I’ve always thought of the Illuminati as a thing beyond that. Like, some kind of quasi-religious thing that transcends mere greed and grift. Maybe we’ve just reached the point in capitalism where oligarch collusion is indistinguishable from world domination, because enough of our governments have already ceded authority to their corporate overlords.

        “Fascism is capitalism in decay”

        Turns out “capitalist democracy” is an oxymoron, because every business is a plutocracy/oligarchy who use their capital to corrupt everything in their favor (politicians, regulators, media, military, the entire population, etc).

        It’s actually kind of mentally ill that everyone just accepted it was possible, but I guess religion already proves we’ll believe anything.
