and how is it
I’ve picked up Astralbringer (crazy mouse shmup, not actually on sale but that dev prices low and doesn’t really do Steam sales), Shikhondo: Blue Pieta (horizontal scrolling shmup), Revo (fast kinda janky gallery shmup), and Beyond Solar (scrolling shmup).
I’m looking into Star Vortex and Star Solar (both space ARPGs), but one has a lengthy demo, so I’ll spend some time with that for context on those. Space ARPG action standards feel like they are depressingly low, which can be frustrating where there are good space fighters out there with richer action, like Radio Free Europa and Galak-Z, just not things with wider scope for gear and play instead of simple runs. I wish I could mush them together.
So kinda tame sale, and I’ve obviously been feeling pretty shmuppy lately (and I’ve got a loooot of those already to play :), but I’ve also got Denshattack release to look forward to on the 15th, depending on price.
No Summer Sale complaints here. Saw several games I often price check around sales take nice drops this time, so deals are out there.
Any fun game that uses AI, to support modernization of the industry and offset the haters.
Milk, bread, sandwich meat if the funds are available. Steam will come from the water I boil for my beans and rice.
Save a little for an onion, some smoked ham hocks, and some Tony Chacheres to put in the beans and brother, you got beans you can live with
Cyberpunk, I’m surprised how well it plays on the deck
one of the few games i bought on release day. it had some rough spots, but projekt really stepped up to fix them. great game. punch build FTW btw
I’ve had it for a while myself, but I happen to be replaying it now. Does punch build pop the heads off enemies like blunt weapons do?
I’m doing a hammer-wielder who also tosses in some combat netrunning like a battlemage, and it makes me giggle every time a head goes flying.
Finally got around to buying Capitan of Industry.
A friend of mine got me Mafia 2 definitive edition, played a few hours today. It’s been fun, I played the demo on 360 so much.
staring at Don’t Stop Girlypop and trying to will $15 into my bank acct by sheer hopes and dreams
Dishonored Definitive Edition for $2
It’s about all I can afford, and I wasn’t even really planning on getting anything this sale.
First time playing Dishonored?
If I could only keep 10 games for the rest of my life that would easily be one of them.
I played it years ago on 360 but never got to finish it even though I got to the last mission.
I grabbed The Binding of Isaac Rebirth Complete bundle for about $5, Dragon Age Origins for $3, and FFXII: The Zodiac Age for $15. That last one’s not as good a deal, but it is still somehow a historic low per the price tracker I use, and I decided I needed Balthier in my life again.
I got “Divinity Original Sin 2”, “Binding of Isaac: Rebirth”, “Carrion”, “Barony” and “The Invincible”. All for less than 20 euro total.
I bought red dead redemption 2, haven’t had time to play it yet and probably won’t for some time, but I think it’s old enough for the reviews to be reliable now.
good pick! “western” has never been my thing in any format–books, movies, games, etc, but this one was a masterpiece, one of the few i played all the way through to the end and still go back and do fresh playthroughs
Do you need to start with the first one, and how is it on the Deck
Nothing yet because I don’t decide easily, but I’m having an eye on Dragon ball XenoVerse 2, the SPAZ collection, Dungeon Siege collection and A House of many Doors.
I was also eyeing the EA 90+% discounts, but they’re EA and their apps/anticheat are a nightmare to deal with and i don’t think it’s worth the trouble.
Nothing. I avoid Steam if I can.
