How about the multiple miracles, witness accounts, testimonies and basic theological reasoning skills of other people from other religions?

Well they can think all they want. “Love your neighbor” and everything.

Yes, there are christian bigots, although that’s kind of an oxymoron. They are hypocrites (like I once was :\), invoking the books without ever reading any.

Genesis 6:19 doesnt say “two pairs” but just “pairs”

this gets a lot of stuff wrong as it takes parables literally, and cherrypicks a bunch of stuff alongside misunderstand stuff

                  1. Genesis 1 focuses on the summary whilst genesis 2 goes into the details of the sixth day

                  2. “one thousand other vessels” could just mean LOT of other vessels

                  3. I genuinely cannot find this verse in my Bible

and of course they’re shilling something

what about #4 – Does God Forgive People?

In 2 Kings 24:4, we encounter a stark declaration: “The LORD was not willing to forgive,” specifically regarding the sins of King Manasseh, who led Judah into idolatry and shed innocent blood.

This statement stands in tension with the broader biblical theme of God’s mercy and willingness to forgive, as seen in passages like Psalms 103:3,10, which praise God for forgiving iniquities and not treating humanity as their sins deserve.

The contradiction deepens when we compare 2 Kings with 2 Chronicles. In the latter (2 Chronicles 33:19), we learn that Manasseh eventually repented, humbling himself before God, who then restored him.

However, repentance and restoration are entirely absent from the account in Kings, which portrays Manasseh’s sins as the ultimate reason for Judah’s destruction — a punishment that fell upon generations long after his reign.

Cherry picking + superimposing modern understandings divorced from actual historical cultural understandings at the time of the authors are the 2 flaws in logic and reasoning that these types will never acknowledge.

Are you sure? Because they said the same thing about Christianity, and they haven’t been recently outed as harboring the largest organized group of pedophiles in history… I don’t know, that’s a pretty persuasive argument they’ve got.

Right, right… remind me, when was that established? Oh, it was years after the pedophile ring was exposed? My my my that’s… not evidence of anything at all, is it?

And have they done anything of substan… oh, huh, nope - just a bunch of letters. Oh, but they made child abuse illegal - in 2019. Bit late to the party, isn’t it.

they did a bunch of stuff

the first fundemental law was in 1929 and

Most of the positive and penal civil law—in contrast to canon law with civil effects—is based on the Italian code from 1889. It was outdated in many ways. This was amended in a major fashion in 2013 to include a number of United Nations Conventions the state has signed over the years, as well as bringing it up to date. The penal code now includes specifics defining money laundering, explicit listing of sexual crimes, and violating confidentiality. Since life imprisonment was abolished by Pope Francis in 2013, the maximum penalty is 30 to 35 years of imprisonment.[6]

and ohhh they noticed a problem, got evidence and acted against it??? how dare they???

and they automatically adopted all italian laws until 2008

"The first Fundamental Law of Vatican City" so not like, about child abuse specifically - just in general the first ones were 1929.

However, as the Vatican had not always accepted Italian laws under the old procedure little would change,

Existing law provided that Italian laws were accepted automatically except on bilateral treaties or those that have a sharp divergence with basic canon law.

It was completely impossible to predict that you might pick and choose the bits you like and take them out of context of the full text. Never once heard of a catholic doing that before. Lol.

and ohhh they noticed a problem, got evidence and acted against it??? how dare they???

In Ireland, a series of government-commissioned reports found widespread physical and sexual abuse in Church-run institutions from the mid-twentieth century onward and concluded that both ecclesiastical and state authorities failed to protect children or respond adequately to allegations.

Yes… yeah, they reacted once they were exposed, but they did not react when they “noticed a problem”. So yes, how fucking DARE they enable the systematic abuse of children for decades before paying lip service to the victims and pretending to implement reforms. Monsters, all of them. And quite honestly, you, too, for defending them. What they did is indefensible, and yet here you are, sadly trying to defend them…
