2 of the 3 major U.S. television networks have decided not to broadcast a planned prime-time address on Thursday by President Donald Trump on their primary platforms, risking the ire of an administration that has placed unprecedented pressure on American media.

This seems like a big deal, but I haven’t watched broadcast TV in more than ten years, so I dunno.
I mean, it will still air on every channel MAGA watches, so that’s what matters, right?
It seems like a big deal that the president wants to address the nation and 2 networks know he’s so full of shit it isn’t worth showing.
Exactly. They have zero obligation to play the role of State Regime Media.
Hasn’t ABC been toeing the line recently? Are we sure they’re just not broadcasting what might be an embarrassing disaster?
Not sure about ABC so much but CBS are suck-ups.
You know what? I was thinking of CBS. Sorry, ABC.
Don’t feel bad Disney isn’t much better
ABC initially kissed the ring but then grew some backbone. I forgive ABC.
It’s a big deal because most voters are over 50, and they all still watch legacy media.
It’s a big deal because they’re not just doing what trump wants…
Although, broadcasting his speech live might actually show some people how much of a buffoon he is. That is, if there’s anyone left who doesn’t already know it. I have trouble believing there could still be fence sitters, but with 330 million people, there’s always some who surprise you.
So if more people listen to him talking out his ass, they’re more likely to realize he’s full of shit…
I’m 53 and I haven’t watched broadcast news since the 2000’s.
So you’re not Joe Moran from Cub Scouts in late 80s Brooklyn. That’s settled.
All? Check yourself before you wreck yourself.
If saying that phrase makes one old… I hate you for bringing this to my attention.
Chiggity check it!
I’m 60.
All guys like you are exactly the same as other guys like you. I can’t tell you apart.
The MAGA true believers will do whatever he says by any channel. But this will reach fewer fence sitters which is good.
At this point there should be very few sitting on the fence
Should be but that’s not how politics works.
