i have been enjoying SNW. it was a good jumping off point for the larger universe. we finished a season and my wife asked to watch TNG, with the sole prompting of “what do you want to watch next”, so on that basis alone it is a good show

I think so. In that era, I was PC and just knew Microsoft was a bag of dicks.
