now time for a beach walk
Occasionally I wake up with what I call a high menopause day. Maybe twice a month. Brain fog, blurred vision, jittery. A definite no driving day. So today I thought I’d do an experiment. I had a Vyvanse. And no it’s nobody’s medication. No I’m not abusing them. I’ve had them for 6 months and this is a first time try.
These are my findings so far. The brain fog is still there. My eyes are still a little unfocused. Motivation is still the same as always. I can self motivate myself quite easily anyway. I am a little more active than a usual high menopause day. I’m a usually active person but on days like that I do tend to not over do things. I do feel like I could chat someone’s ear off. I have no muscle pain. Heart rate is fine.
Would I take it again. Probably. I’m not in a hurry to though. I can see how it helps people. I’m just going about my day. Taking breaks. Drinking a lot of water. It’ll be interesting to see the the effects later.
Oh an by the way I’m cleaning my George Forman grill and it’s looking beautiful.
I’ve got a jar of dexies a friend gave me. I find them pretty mild. I only ever take one. I have taken speed and meth in the past. I found speed and meth pretty mild TBH. Amphetamines aren’t really my thing.
One dexy is like 4 coffees to me. A half is much better but it’s like 2 coffees which is my daily limit anyway so why bother.
The other night when I had 4 espresso martinis which is 2 espresso coffees I was bouncing off walls at 5am so that’s not gonna happen again either.
I’ve had one dexy, but I messed up by not taking it on a day where I was gonna use my brain lol so I just ended up sitting wide-eyed feeling my heart pump like it hasn’t before 😂 I thought it was gonna explode, I swear I could feel the blood coursing through my veins. So if I take one again, it’ll be on a day where I’ll be doing something.
If you’re gonna do it, take half. Much more gentle.

I mean I’m 99% sure I have autism, but I ain’t forking out $3k for a diagnosis, so no judgement here!
I’ve just heard that people with ADHD metabolise stimulants differently to the “norm” lol
When my friends were getting into stimulants 20 years ago I always wound up going to bed on them. Seemed like a waste of money so I stuck with weed and psychadelics.
