I think it’s just different types of humour not hitting is all. Money under the strap part was her silly counter offer to me offering a $40 electronic transfer and the loonies ($1 coins) was my response because there’s no way I’d use American money.

I was told she’d only accept 1$ bills in the strap of her underwear but all I have is loonies…

The seawater I desalinate myself but maybe one day I’ll sail down there just to try local water and beans.

Hand ground with my J-Max and hand pumped to 9 bars on the picopresso. But I did use a solar powered electric motor to desalinate the water as hand pumping to 55 bars would be a challenge.

An alternative would be finding a pharmacy that does deliveries? Mine will happily ship my meds all over Canada.

Too late for petitioning against C-34 and age verification for social media and others but you can still petition against C-22 that “authorizes regulations requiring designated “core providers” to collect and retain metadata on all Canadians for up to one year without any individual being under suspicion or investigation” so that your sailing option stays viable as VPN providers could exit the country 🙃

The cheap skimmed version does suck yeah. But the whole milk powder I’ve been using tastes just fine in cereal, coffee or anything I cooked with it.

Much better than any other shelf stable milks I’ve tried and beats frozen milk hands down.
