It’s not that far off though. I travel a lot across Switzerland by train and either I’m working in the train if it’s a commute to work or I’ll drink wine, beer or eat in the train restaurant. Worst travel experience is when I watch a series on my phone or computer since it is kind of “lost time”.

Traveling in a train is not just waiting, you can almost always do something. Either productive, fun or that you would need to do anyway

I had this issue a few times. If you watch a video in another language than what you have set in your settings, YouTube will now auto AI translate with a voiceover. It sounds horrible and is very annoying. It’s YouTube fault though, and not the creators’.

China is stealing your data for political reasons. America is stealing your data to extract as much money from you as possible.

That level of sport is also where you have sponsors which you don’t want to loose by being outside the norm.

I’m most case you provably want to just send the document as PDF, don’t you? For which use case do you want to send an editable document to another company?

I had to start using macos for work and it also took me a few hours to solve the setup problems. But it wasn’t even to launch games or app. It was just to make simple things working, like my keyboard layout, multi monitors support, windows snapping or multiple desktops. In the end I ended up having to spend some money in addition to the time, so yeah, Linux is not that complicated. (And I’m not even comparing it to Windows)

All APK from f-droid are signed. Just not with a key approved by Google.
