My grandmother, drunk at my wedding, told my brother that “it doesn’t really matter until I have grandkids”… to her grandkid… at her grandkid’s funeral, knowing full well I will never have children. I would absolutely do this to her.

0·7 days agoYeah I would agree, but idk how much this is an American perspective for me. Living through the fall of the imperium makes for stiff competition. For the people disagreeing, I can’t help but feel that people are hyperfixating in the advent of new technology rather than its omnipresence and application. But hard to argue with the “end of the cold war” argument tbf.
