Thank you for this! My husband has an old surface and it’s getting slow as shit. Didn’t think there was a way to get Linux on it. Cheers!

I’ve had to show it at both security and boarding for a few years now. Both domestic and international.
Every time I turn on the screen it’s a different nature pic from my photos. It’s nice to get the memories and there’s no identifying photos of people.
You know, that would make a lot of sense with his “we need to forget about the separation of church and state” comments.
So first off, hells yes to Harvey Birdman! That was my husband and I’s you want to hang out and watch something show when we were first dating. Sealab 2021, Space Ghost, Adventure Time, Aeon Flux, and Futurama all have a special place too.
Yup. Clean is the main thing though. I’ve forgotten my silverware for lunch and figured out some very interesting workarounds before.
You’ve put it very well. And as someone that lives in BC, I agree wholeheartedly.
I said this to my boss. We’re in BC and work in the marine industry. She’s really worried about, well everything, and doesn’t know how she can help. I told her we work on boats, we all have boats, there will be a new Underground Railroad, and where we are will mean boats. I’m not letting people die down there if I can help get them out.
I really love that you did that. I hope some kid (or an adult that’s a kid at heart) found it! Imagine how stoked they were!
Oooh! Thanks for the hot tip!
I’m ok with this. I’ve voted NDP every election except for one, to remove Harper and get proportional representation. I’ve been very worried about vote splitting letting PP win so this feels to me like his way of broadcasting that it’s ok to vote liberal if that’s what we need to do. I’m lucky that I’m in a fairly secure NDP riding, but I will be voting strategically if needed. I think Carney will do a good job, and the NDP can be the push from the left to influence him, and honestly that’s not a bad place to be in. These are weird and uncertain times, we need a major trouncing of the cons, however that looks. Very much like when I voted liberal the last time, only way more extreme! He sees the writing on the wall and I just hope they retain enough seats to make a difference.
What did you switch to from Bitwarden, if you don’t mind me asking.
That very well could be regional. Are you near Baltimore? I grew up around DC, but mostly in Annapolis, and I’ve always said it like cen-tar
Edit - I agree with the person below, your brain probably decided that’s how it was pronounced at a young age. There’s a bunch of words I’ve read but never say out loud because I know I will say them wrong! I should just own them, there’s too many great words out there!
You know, I don’t know why I’m surprised, it’s so on brand for him. Thank you for the detailed response!
One of my favourite books is World Made By Hand by James Kunstler. It’s a lot like Station Eleven in its a post apocalyptic setting, and how the people that are left are getting by with what they have. Apparently it’s a series of books now too, I just discovered that when I looked it up to get the authors name right, so now I’ve got more to read in that world, yay!
Thanks for asking this question, I’ve added a bunch to my reading list!
Wait, what?? I did not know that. Like never? What the fuck does he do all day?? For years???
I’ll second Vivaldi! There’s no other browser with that kind of tab and workspace management. It’s how my brain works. The mobile app is great too with tab groups and the sync between the two is fast. I keep Librewolf on my laptop as well for the odd website that only likes FF.
I see you’re from Iowa so probably not familiar with a lot of our news. Here are a few links to recent land and governance transfers, and modern treaties in BC. As I live here these are the ones I know about, there are probably more in other provinces. While there is still so much to be done, these are excellent starts. Cheers

Styx, black (named after one of Plutos moons, not the 80s band)
Diesel, orange (named in memory of my friends cat)
Together they are Dieselbub and the Prince of Darkness. They are brothers from the same litter and we love them very much.
Edit: Gah! I just went upstairs and they’re being adorable
I work at a school and that one gets used sometimes. A lady that helps us develop programming said it quite often and my colleagues picked it up, I don’t use it myself.
