GOG needs a Linux app. Hero launcher is ok but I don’t like needing another app to get to another app, it’s like needing a car to get to my other car.

I cancelled my PS+ that I’ve had since the PS3 last month, I’m done with consoles
What do you mean about unaffordable PC gaming? A 10 year old console costs nearly as much as a brand new PC, like $200-$300 difference. Plus the games are cheaper on PC. Plus all to advantages of owning a PC/laptop. What made consoles appealing 10+ years ago is gone, no more plugnplay, no more savings, and no more simplicity.
PS5 Pro $900 re-released with minor upgrades 2024
Gaming Laptop $950 released 2023

Their called T-Mobile now they merged or bought them, I don’t remember. T-Mobile is owned by Deutsche Telekom
I think it’s the double chin and the patches of hair that kind of screw everything up
But to be fair, does anyone know who’s on stage?

Maybe when it goes on sale

Not surprised. They did this with their other movie app a few years ago, the one that allowed you to download a free digital version of DVDs when you bought the DVD back when streaming was new.

Maybe able to get away with it if your not using a PC with AI snitch

Makes sense, it’s the difference in knowing something and doing something.

A 1year old Nintendo handheld that is portable and comes with a screen for $450 or a 6ish year old anchor that is $650 feels like a no-brainer. Plus the Switch 2 still plays all of the same games (except exclusives on the other consoles obviously) just maybe not as well, but good enough.
Anyone that was going to buy a PS5/Xbox has probably already bought one, so it makes sense for sales to slow. They’re probably down to a few stragglers and people replacing dead units.
Plus as the price creeps closer to PC levels, consoles kind of lose their appeal. A pretty decent gaming laptop/desktop can still run about $1,000ish, and the Steam Machine is $1,100. The Legion/Ally/Steam Deck handhelds will run about $600 to $1,000. Also the PC games will work on any PC in the future, so your library keeps going instead of starting over every generation.
I’m so confused. Who is/isn’t paying who?
I would like a law that says the publisher/owner/digital store has to remove any server pings and anti-cheat through a standalone update that can be shared and downloaded once they abandon support. This would go for games and any other digital media, alternatively they would have to offer a refund.

First I’ve heard of Afterplay. I was a little confused about how this was any different from GOG since GOG is called Good Old Games, I was hoping that it would actually have the old games. I checked it out.
For those also wondering. Short version, it’s a Chrome app that allows you to upload your ROMs to their cloud storage then play them in the browser.

How? Please elaborate

I wish Nintendo would release the NES/SNES classics on PC as a one time package.

Looks like a Volkswagen

What are all of these data centers for? Do they really need hundreds of data centers? Are they going to build a bunch of data centers and half sit unused or underutilized?

Yes, but I guess your family can argue that you had the right of way when a giant truck turns you into a hood ornament because you were watching Facebook shorts instead of looking both ways before crossing a street
So what you’re saying is I don’t need Heroic to get to GoG?
