100% killed from the Mossad by tomorrow for spilling out state secrets
we share the same superpower.
point it however, that is the nature of open source projects, just up to yourself willing to sacrifice time and hardware to test and integrate on your device.
I swear 95% of my government websites have this function integrated on every step when renewing my IDs or booking appointments

right, right my apologies, I’ve never observed the same quantity of posts from the same user(s) with other conventions

not saying it’s a conspiracy, but to be fair there are plenty of talks and conventions, eg: Defcon, but hardly you can see a flurry of posts of talks done in the same year.

I understand there might be interesting talks, but man I’ve seen at least 3/4 post of 1 hour long CCC talks in the past few days
marketing? pushing? you decide
you call it “occupational hazards”, I call it “work benefits”

because we’re in an era where there always will be a gold rush for a specific component. upgrades have slowed down considerably in the past 10 years, my laptop is 4 years old and still kicks like the first day, I still game on my 8 year old laptop which is permanently attached to the TV and running as a steam machine with more than decent performance.
this wasn’t even thinkable in the 00’s
I’m pretty sure after hard disks, GPUs, rams the next shortage is either Arm CPUs or a specific future type of PSUs

I usually download my warez RAM modules from ramgirl repacks

tldr: Motorola edge 60 pro
I was in your same situation, was running on OnePlus6T up until literally last month.
My previous phones were the Nexus 5 and the 6T, I tend to keep devices for a long ass time so I always seek phones with the cleanest stock ROM, mobile phones are quite disappointing these days it is either stupidly expensive flagship phones, or cheap phones with a shit load of bloatware or shitty ROMs. Rooting is out of consideration because bank apps and wallet, wallet does work with the right magisk modules but breaks my bank apps and vice versa the modules right for my bank apps won’t make the wallet work.
On top I try to keep a budget constraint of not more than 500ish which took immediately Galaxy and Pixels out of the consideration. Also the latest Nothing phone (which was my considered option) they ask for a high price for what they actually offer. Last requirement, fast charge and twin battery which is mostly the reason why my 6T lasted for such long time.
So I settled for the Motorola edge 60 pro.
Pros: has everything I need, high capacity battery and limited AI bloatware which can be disabled, but aside that the stock ROM is a clean Android.
Cons: the curved screen, there’s no glass protector which fits it and it’s quite exposed for eventual falls, which I partly solved with a cover that flushes with the screen. Disabling the AI also makes the 4th button out of use which I would’ve liked to remap to some other function (or use it as a power button). Last but less important, not a Snapdragon.
Also they reduced the price recently because they’re going to release a new phone shortly, which means probably you can get away with a pretty more than decent phone with around €400.
Some last words: if you feel you want to wait a bit more there’s the Jaguar ROM around for OnePlus phones that is based on the Oxygen OS and bootloader can be locked after flashing so the OS thinks it is genuine. The battery consumption is more than solid compared to lineageos so it might extend your phone life for some extra months

I would use an hex clock! do it!

120 missed calls from EA

yep same for me and was tempted to delete it, I think my Lemmy instance is a bit slow than the others
the forgotten ipv5

no it doesn’t, and I am very aware that if anything runs on someone’s computer then it can get replicated. but it gets slightly harder, also to reverse-engineer it or find potential fallacies. as well as source maps on prod are just a waste of bandwidth

depends.
if we’re talking about a personal website nobody will care. if you are a multibillion company and there’s the risk that literally anyone can create a 1:1 clone of your services… yeah that’s a bit of a trouble

As most of our tech.
Being someone that yield to my tech stuff as long as possible I really love to live in a world where a company is forced to opensource everything related to a specific product if they opt to stop maintaining it.

yes, and no. what really Facebook lacks (along the top social medias) is strong negative feedback.
I don’t think the village idiot is going that far with the flat earth conspiracy when is publicly downvoted to oblivion
it’s been like that for the past 6 years or so? I remember falling back to a laptop because of video card spike because mining, then I said right I postpone another year for the build and the chip shortage came along. Then SSD/hard drive Then RAM Next thing they’re pulling the rug off is going to be PSU and chassis and we’re cooked
